NM Early PreK

Cassandra Green

NM Early PreK Lead Teacher

As the Lead Early PreK Teacher at WHLC, I am passionate about making a positive difference in my students’ lives by creating a fun and comfortable environment where they can thrive. With 6 years of experience in childcare, I am dedicated to helping children reach their full potential by designing engaging lessons and building strong relationships with them and their families.

I was inspired to work at WHLC because of its supportive, family-oriented community that values communication and personal growth. I love being part of a school that truly cares for both students and staff, creating a space where everyone feels respected and encouraged to grow.

Outside of work, I enjoy camping, going to the movies, and spending quality time with my family and friends. The laughter and smiles of children are what always bring a smile to my face.

Raquel Dominguez

NM Early PreK Assistant Teacher

With 14 years of experience at WHLC, I have dedicated myself to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for our children. My passion is in fostering curiosity, teaching Spanish, and helping children become independent in tasks like recognizing their name and managing their school routine.

My work as an early childhood educator is inspired by my desire to help children develop both cognitively and spiritually. I am deeply committed to integrating the love of Christ into my teaching, which is why WHLC was the perfect place for me to work.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy making piñatas, walking in nature, especially the forest or the mountains, and visiting hot springs. I always feel happiest when talking about the Lord with others, spending time with my family or going to church.

About NM Early Pre K

In our Early PreK 3-year-old class, children learn through fun routines and guided play that build strong foundational skills. Each day they enjoy songs, stories, and simple projects led by caring teachers, which supports language growth and social-emotional development aligned with New Mexico’s Early Learning Guidelines. This gentle, loving environment encourages each child’s curiosity, confidence, and comfort with new routines and friends.
