Western Heights Learning Center has been a trusted part of Albuquerque’s South Valley since 1968, providing children with more than just early education—we offer a foundation for life.
Serving children from age 2 through 5th grade, we create a Christ-centered environment where learning, play, and personal growth go hand in hand. Our childcare program uses a developmental interaction approach in partnership with the Creative Curriculum, encouraging exploration, creativity, and social-emotional growth through play and discovery.
In our elementary program, students build strong academic and spiritual foundations through the Bob Jones Press and Abeka curriculum—preparing them not just for school, but for a life of purpose and faith.
At Western Heights, we believe every child deserves the chance to grow, learn, and be known.

Drop Off
At Western Heights, we prioritize the safety and security of our students with our secure drop-off and pick-up system. Utilizing the ProCare check-in system, each authorized adult is assigned a unique code, ensuring that only those approved can pick up the children.
This system allows parents and guardians to drop off and pick up their children with peace of mind, knowing that their safety is our top priority. By implementing these measures, we create a secure and controlled environment, fostering a sense of trust and reliability within our school community.
