Kindergarten Lead Teacher
I joined WHLC in 2024 and now have the joy of teaching 3rd grade. For me, teaching is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to help students grow academically while pointing them toward Jesus and His love.
My three children have attended WHLC for eight years, and I’ve always loved the family-like community here. Before teaching, I worked with youth for many years and am now pursuing a Bachelor’s in Psychology. In the classroom, I strive to make learning fun and engaging so students are excited to discover new things.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, video games, riding motorcycles with my husband, and spending time with my family. A fun fact about me is that I lived in Europe for eight years, in Sicily, Italy, and Scotland. The emoji that best represents me is 🤓—I’m a proud geek at heart!
About Kindergarten
Third grade is such an exciting year—kids start reading chapter books, writing more, and mastering multiplication and division. They also explore God’s creation in science and learn about cultures and geography around the world.
