Julia Condes

5th Grade Lead Teacher

I’m the 5th-grade teacher at WHLC, a role I’ve held since 2021. I started as a substitute and playground teacher before the opportunity to teach arose. I’m passionate about teaching kids God’s word, helping them understand His love, and creating a safe environment where they feel valued.

I was inspired to join WHLC after enrolling my son in 2018. Though I don’t have a formal degree, my experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities led me to teaching. I’m motivated by knowing I’m fulfilling God’s purpose for me.
My approach to teaching is relationship-based, ensuring my students know I care about them beyond just their education. I love WHLC’s family atmosphere, where we support each other in faith.

Outside of work, I enjoy soccer, playing sports with my boys, and Bible study. The heart emoji 💖 represents me because it symbolizes love—both for my students and for Jesus!
