Chrissy Franklin-Neice
Executive Director
I’ve been part of this incredible community for nearly 20 years, and I’m passionate about dreaming big for our mission and providing employees and families with the support they need to thrive. My grandfather, the founding pastor of WHLC, inspired me to join the team. I decided to give it a try and soon found myself diving into revising policies to meet new state requirements. I quickly fell in love with the work, driving to Santa Fe to testify alongside other child care providers and advocating for our mission. From that moment, I was hooked and committed to making a difference in this field. As Executive Director, I work alongside the board to set strategic goals, oversee operations, and ensure financial stability for WHLC. Helping shape world-changers through Christ-centered values is truly a joy.
I have a AA’s in Early Childhood Multicultural Education and Liberal Arts from CNM, a BA in Journalism & Mass Communication and a Masters in Public Administration from UNM. Outside of work, I’ve been singing in a local band since 1998, and have a blended family with 5 kids and my husband, Shaun.
