About Us
Our Story
Western Heights was founded in 1968 by Wallace and Norma Franklin. In 1962, Wallace and Norma opened Western Heights Church down on Bridge near Five Points. They grew out of that location and relocated to our current location in 1965. The child care center was opened in 1968 to meet the need of the community around them, when they noticed so many children were being left alone during the day. Out of their love for the children of this community our learning center grew and flourished!
